Shopify blog scheduler: publish articles to your store on schedule

Plan your store's blog articles next to the social posts that sell the same products. You connect your store through an app you create in Shopify's Dev Dashboard, pick the blog, and at the time you set Postemi publishes the article with its title, image, tags, author and summary, or saves it hidden.Beta: New in Postemi and not yet tested with many stores. You connect through an app you create in Shopify, which takes about five minutes.

Your store, your app

Postemi works through the app you created, with only the content scopes you gave it.

Image and tags

The image you set or the first picture of the post, and your tags.

Published or hidden

Publish at the set time, or save the article hidden and show it yourself.

How it works

Start with Shopify in three steps

  1. Shopify

    Create the app

In dev.shopify.com: a new app with the scopes write_content and read_content, released and installed on your store.

  2. 02

    Connect

Enter your myshopify.com address and the app's client ID and secret in Postemi.

  3. 03

    Write and schedule

Pick the blog, add a title, and pick the time.

Take the Shopify load off your shoulders

Write the next few weeks in one go, drag them onto the calendar, and Postemi publishes at the minute you set. You only have to deal with the content.

Frequently askedquestions

Why do I create an app in Shopify?
Since 2026 Shopify makes custom apps in its Dev Dashboard, and an app that any store can install needs Shopify's review first. Until Postemi's own app is approved, you create one for your store: a new app with the scopes write_content and read_content, released and installed on the store. Then paste its client ID and secret in Postemi.
I have an older custom app with an shpat_ token. Can I use it?
Yes. Leave the client ID empty and paste the Admin API access token (shpat_...) as the secret. The app needs the write_content scope.
Can Postemi change my products or orders?
No. The scopes you give the app cover content such as blog articles and pages, not products, orders or customers.
Which address do I enter?
Your your-shop.myshopify.com address, from Settings > Domains in Shopify admin. Not your own domain.
Is there a free trial for Shopify?
Yes, every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. We ask for a card to start the trial, but we don't charge anything during it. After that the Basic plan is available from $19 a month, and you can cancel anytime.
