From the conversation, ChatGPT schedules into your calendar
Tell it what you want, and when. ChatGPT writes the copy, then schedules it to 12 platforms with Postemi's tools. You review it in the calendar.
Available in ChatGPT pluginsInstall the Posty plugin from ChatGPT plugins (search for: Posty), and schedule my posts with Postemi's tools. If there is no plugin, custom connector: https://api.posty.hu/mcp-oauth. If you have a shell, the Postemi CLI: npm install -g posty-cli, then posty auth:login. Details: https://postemi.com/ai/chatgpt
From the conversation to approval
ChatGPT starts the scheduling from the conversation. Whichever way you connect, it gets the same tools.
Schedule from the conversation
Tell ChatGPT what the post should be about, and when it should go out. It writes the copy, then schedules it through Postemi.
Handles media too
For media, run the posty upload command first. ChatGPT attaches the URL you get to the matching content in the schedule.
Sees the calendar
ChatGPT reads the Postemi calendar, so you see the booked and free slots. On request it rearranges the schedule before you approve.
Preview on a card
Before scheduling, ChatGPT shows a card of what would go out: the copy, the images, the character count and the errors, per account. The Schedule button sends exactly what you see.
One account, three ways
Plugin, MCP connector or CLI: each sees the same Postemi account and the same connected accounts. You can switch from one to another later.
Approval in the calendar
ChatGPT prepares the schedule, and you review it in the Postemi calendar. You can edit and approve it before the post goes out to any platform.
How you connect them
Pick one. The plugin is the shortest. The MCP connector is the same server added by hand. The CLI is the command-line path. One Postemi account sits behind all three.
One click in ChatGPT
The plugin is listed as Posty, the platform Postemi runs on, and you sign in with your Postemi account. No key, no URL: ChatGPT signs you in in the browser.
Connect your accounts
On the Postemi web app, connect the social accounts you want to use. In the OAuth flow you authorize the connection, and pick which platforms Postemi can access.
$ posty integrations:list[{ "id": "cmf3k7…", "name": "Cafe · Instagram" },{ "id": "cmf3k9…", "name": "Cafe · Facebook" }]
Install the Posty plugin
Open ChatGPT plugins, search for Posty, and install it. ChatGPT asks once to connect your Postemi account: you sign in in the browser, and you do not copy a key.
# One click, no key:https://chatgpt.com/plugins → search for: Posty → Install # ChatGPT asks you in the browser to log into Posty. That's it.Schedule, then review
Then ask in plain English, for example: "schedule a post for tomorrow at 18:00". ChatGPT first shows a preview card, then schedules with Postemi's tools. You review it in the Postemi calendar before it goes out.
$ posty posts:list[{ "id": "cmf7p2…", "state": "QUEUE","publishDate": "2026-08-16T07:00:00Z" },{ "id": "cmf7q8…", "state": "DRAFT","publishDate": "2026-08-18T06:30:00Z" }]
The same server, added by hand
If plugins are not available on your plan or in your workspace, add the Postemi MCP server as a custom connector. You get the same tools as with the plugin.
Add the connector
On the ChatGPT Settings, Connectors page, create a custom connector at https://api.posty.hu/mcp-oauth. ChatGPT signs you into Postemi in the browser. Custom connectors are a paid ChatGPT plan feature.
# Name: Posty# URL: https://api.posty.hu/mcp-oauth# Authentication: OAuth, ChatGPT logs you into your Posty account in the browser # If the client cannot do OAuth, the key goes in the URL:https://api.posty.hu/mcp/YOUR_API_KEYA key only if you need one
If a client cannot sign in through the browser, create a key that starts with psty_mcp_ on the Settings, Developers page, and append it to the URL. We show the key once.
# Automations → Developers → New key# We show the key once, when you create it. # For the command line and the REST API:POSTY_API_KEY=YOUR_API_KEY # MCP clients get a separate key:# psty_mcp_…Four commands to your first post
If you or ChatGPT use the command line, the Postemi CLI manages the same account. Install it, sign in in the browser, list the accounts, then create a post.
# Install the Postemi CLI$ npm install -g posty-cli# Sign in to your Postemi account$ posty auth:login# List the connected platforms$ posty integrations:list[{ "id": "cmf3k7…", "name": "Cafe · Instagram" }]# Create the scheduled post$ posty posts:create \$ -c "New brunch menu this Saturday." \$ -i "cmf3k7…" \$ -s "2026-08-16 09:00" --timezone Europe/Budapest✅ Post created successfully!{ "id": "cmf7p2…", "state": "QUEUE" }
The CLI writes JSON to standard output, and status and errors to standard error. On error the exit code is non-zero.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is OpenAI's assistant. You can use it in the browser, on desktop, and on your phone. It writes text, answers questions, and reaches external tools through plugins and connectors. Postemi is in its plugins. After you install it, you can ask it to schedule posts in everyday English.
In practice you describe the post you want, and when it should go out. For example: "schedule a post for tomorrow at 18:00". ChatGPT writes the copy, then calls the Postemi tool. You do not have to type a command.
The plugin and the custom connector use the same Postemi MCP server, and the CLI uses the same account from the command line. On any path, Postemi schedules and publishes at the approved time.
A familiar interface
It is available in the browser, on desktop, and on your phone. Through Postemi you schedule posts with the same assistant.
Connects with a plugin
The plugin is in ChatGPT's directory as Posty, and you install it in one click. The custom connector is the second path, on paid plans.
Separate jobs
ChatGPT writes the post copy. Postemi schedules and publishes, and it has no built-in AI copywriter, on purpose.
What an agent can handle well
Postemi takes predictable input and returns a machine-readable response. You do not need a separate detour for automation.
- Machine-readable JSONCommands write JSON to standard output, so the agent can parse it directly.
- Clear error signalsThe CLI writes status and errors to standard error, and on failure it exits with a non-zero code.
- Built-in skill fileThe SKILL.md in the npm package describes how to use the CLI, so the agent can learn from it.
- Flat command setThe flat command set has no hidden state, so the input and result of every operation are easy to follow.
- Three access modesYou can reach the same Postemi account over MCP, the published CLI, and the public REST API.
---name: postydescription: Posty schedules and publishes social posts from the command line.homepage: https://posty.hu--- # Output contract Every command prints its JSON result, and nothingelse, to stdout; status lines, warnings and errorsgo to stderr, and every failure exits 1. # Two Hard Rules (Read First) Rule 1: Authenticate before anything.Rule 2: Every file passed to `-m` MUST first gothrough `posty upload`.The agent learns the CLI from the SKILL.md in the npm package, with no extra training.
The full CLI toolkit
The posty commands cover posts, integrations, analytics, uploads, configuration and authentication. You can pass the -c flag more than once for a content thread, and attach media with the -m flag.

You can filter by client group too.posty posts:delete <id>Delete a post by id.posty posts:find-slot <id>The next free publishing time for a social account.posty posts:status <id>Switch a post between draft and scheduled.posty posts:missing <id>Content already on the platform for a post with a missing id.posty posts:connect <id>Connect a post to content that is already published.posty integrations:listConnected social accounts and their ids. Only pass a date with no offset together with this.-t, --typeschedule (default), draft, or now.-d, --delayDelay in MINUTES between items in the thread.--jsonThe full post description from a JSON file, when the flags are not enough.--settingsPlatform-specific settings as JSON. The schema comes from integrations:settings. The CLI writes JSON to standard output, so the agent can parse every command result directly.
