How do I connect Postemi to MCP Server?
Add Postemi to MCP Server
Add a remote server with streamable HTTP transport. The shape differs by client; this is the common one.
{ "mcpServers": { "postemi": { "url": "https://mcp.postemi.com/mcp" } }}Then just ask MCP Server
Once connected, MCP Server calls the Postemi tools. Scheduled posts go out on time, even after you close the chat.
Done. I found your X and LinkedIn accounts and scheduled both posts for 9:00 tomorrow. Want me to save a version for Instagram as a draft too?

What can MCP Server do with Postemi?
Draft, schedule or publish
MCP Server creates a post as a draft, schedules it for a time you name, or publishes it right away. Ask for a draft when you want to check it first.
Preview per account
Before it creates anything, MCP Server can show what would go out on each account: the text, the media and the character count.
Reads your calendar
MCP Server sees what is already scheduled, in your time zone, so it can find a free slot or move a post.
Knows each platform's rules
Postemi tells MCP Server the character limit and the options of every connected account before it writes.
Images and video
MCP Server adds media from a link, or gives you an upload link for a file on your own computer.
Workspaces and client groups
If you manage several brands, MCP Server lists your workspaces and client groups and works in the one you pick.
What is the Postemi MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI agent use outside tools. Postemi runs a hosted MCP server at https://mcp.postemi.com/mcp. MCP Server connects to it, and from then on it can list your channels, read your calendar and create posts in your Postemi account.
The server runs on Postemi's side, so there is nothing to install for it. You sign in to Postemi in the browser, or use an MCP key, and that decides the workspace MCP Server works in. Your social accounts stay connected in Postemi itself: MCP Server never sees their passwords.
Postemi has no built-in AI writer, on purpose. MCP Server writes the posts, Postemi schedules and publishes them.
How MCP Server uses Postemi
Once Postemi is connected, MCP Server finds the tools by itself and calls them when you ask for a post.
- Reads your connected accounts and each one's rules
- Checks the calendar and your time zone before it picks a time
- Can show a preview per account before it creates a post
- Saves a draft, schedules, or publishes now, as you asked
- Adds images and video from a link, or from an upload link you open
